NEW OPERA HERO in collaboration with Timeless Network and the Royal Opera de Wallonie is currently preparing NEO 2009 (Nuit d’Electronique et d’Opera) at the Royal Opera in Liege with further European gigs afterwards.
The successful NEO 2008 included DJ Landstrumm, Murcof, Mike Dred and DMX Krew along with performers of the Royal Opera de Wallonie

NEW OPERA HERO Work
The people behind NEW OPERA HERO have directed, composed, written anddesigned for theatre, opera, concerts, TV and computer games for morethan a decade. Their international credits range from the Pet Shop Boys to the National Opera Tokyo.
They have been on a mission to explore chanted drama and adaptations of operatic forms, which started with a collaboration with Asian Dub Foundation for the English National Opera in London and will culminate in 2009 with "Parallel Observations" (their current project), this time with the Royal Opera de Wallonie. It premieres in May 2009 at the Royal Opera in Liege, Belgium.

NEW OPERA HERO'S Parallel Observationsis a multimedia collage which includes 10 performers of the Royal OperaLiege. Performed in front of synchronised reactive screens, andpresenting the musicians as characters on stage, it is a uniquespectacle.
The piece deals with the parallel dynamics inside a family and amicro cosmos of gas molecules, and invites the audience to wonder ifeverything is governed by the same universal laws.
